This simple adapter allows the use of M42 lenses on your Pentax camera. 

The adapter is flush mounted and to unmount it there is an accessory that presses the release button on the camera lens.

This adapter can be used on the Pentax digital reflex, (K20D, K200D, K2000, K10D, K100D Super, K110D, *ist D, *ist DL, *ist DS, *ist DS2 ) cameras.  Because it is mechanically the same mount as the one that takes the conventional Pentax reflex and film cameras.  

It is an accessory that adapts the mount from a mechanical point of view.  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and body is not possible. There are many good quality economic thread lenses that deserve to be used with Pentax reflex cameras.
