This device allows the use of manual focus Leica-R lenses on your Sony Alpha camera by replacing the lens mount.

 

It is an accessory that must be mounted in place of the original Leica mount. It is a purely mechanical alteration and fully reversible. The replacement requires a tools and is not very difficult to fit.

 

Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and the body is not possible.  There are many good quality Leica-R lenses that deserve to be used on Sony cameras.
