More info

The Kyocera Yashica AF MACRO 60mm 1:2.8 lens  is a special lens, the correction of which is optimized for close range, whereas lenses for general photography are optimized for long object distances. The design of this lens corresponds to that of an almost symmetrical Planar lens, the correction of which is remarkably steady with changes of the image scale. If it is stopped down slightly more than normal taking lenses with similar focal lengths, it can also be used for long-range photography with satisfactory results.

The optic design is the same as Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar but the lens was produced with autofocus features and to be used with Yashica AF mount film cameras on the market in the late 90s. Nowadays this lens can be used with mirrorless digital cameras with Fotodiox adapters which produce them for Fuji-X, Sony-E and micro-4/3 cameras. we offer 20% discount on the adapter for this lens when purchased aith the lens

These adapters have a blue aperture ring to adjust the iris of the lens but there is no possibility to perform autofocus. Focussing have to be adjusted manually on the lens front ring.
