Schneider Super-Angulon 47mm/5.6 has 8 lenses in 4 groups. Register flange distance is 52,2mm. The field of view of the lens for the original format is 105 degrees and 60 degrees for the Fuji GFX-50s sensor size.

Fuji GFX50S is a medium format camera with a sensor size of 43,8 mm x 32,9 mm, 51,4 megapixel and a flange distance of 26,7 mm.

The adapter can be divided in 4 different parts. You need a Fuji bayonet mount on the rear and a tube to place the lens at the right distance away from the sensor. As part of this tube you will need a focussing device and some shims to adjust the distance:

Helical mount.

The focussing device is normally an helicoid. There are plenty of models in the market but for wide angle lenses the dimensions and travel are smaller than normal and are difficult to find. In this case the lens was purchased with the helicoid already attached

Extension tube.

This particular lens with helical mount has to be placed at 15,6mm from the bayonet and a tube can be made using standard stepping rings. Considering that their thickness is around 4mm we can use only 3 to get close to the required distance.  We have used a 72-58mm step-down ring attached to the helicoid using 3 screws. The following ring is a 62-72mm step-up and the last one is a 77-62mm step-down that have been fitted upside down. The total thicknes of this device is around 12,6mm.

Shims.

In order to assure infinity focussing, the distance of the extension tube has to be the right one according to the manufacturer specifications. The use of 3 shims with 1mm thicknes is required for this purpose but we produced a single 3mm washer form an ABS sheet using our CNC machine. Drilling this shim and rear step-down was required to fit it to the Fuji GFX50S bayonet using 4x M2 screws.

Fuji GFX50S bayonet.

We have used the brass chromed bayonet taken from a Canon EF-Fuji GFX neutral adapter but we ordered these parts to the manufacturer and we are ready to sell them apart.
