This simple adapter allows the use of micro-4/3 mount lenses on your Sony NEX (NEX A5100 A6000 A5000 A3000 NEX-5T NEX-3N NEX-6 NEX-5R NEX-F3 NEX-7 NEX-5N NEX-5C NEX-C3 NEX-3 NEX-5 NEX-VG900 NEX-VG30 NEX-EA50 FS700 NEX-VG10 NEX-VG20 and A7R A7 A7S, II y III)

 Its an accessory that adapts the mount from the mechanical point of view.  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and the body is not possible.

Note: Even though Olympus and Panasonic MFT mount lenses fit in the adapter, lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted. As this lenses require power to engage the manual focus rings on the lens, since manual lens mount adapters do not power the lens, those lenses will not be able to focus.
