This simple adapter allows you to use C thread lenses on your Sony Alpha NEX E mount camera.

 

Sony Alpha NEX-3 , NEX-5, NEX-C3, NEX-5N and NEX-7.

 

It is an accessory that adapts the mount from a mechanical point of view .  Any automatic feature that requires an electronic connection between the lens and the body is not possible.

 

Note:  Most C thread lenses produce vignetting on these cameras, except when you use digital zoom.  Some lenses with a large diameter can not screw completely to the full depth of the adapter, therefore you cant focus to infinity.

 

IMPORTANT:

Configure your camera to use the adapter

(menu)->(adjust)->(release without lens)-> enable

Use mode A or M only
